Who we are
VoyagePoint is a document intelligence and compliance verification platform for UK freight forwarders and customs brokers. Our service is operated by VoyagePoint ("we", "us", "our").

What data we collect
Account data: your name, company name, and email address when you create an account.
Shipment documents: PDFs you upload for processing. Stored in secure cloud storage, processed by our document intelligence pipeline, and associated with your account only and never shared with other tenants.
Usage data: standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and actions taken within the product. Used solely for security and service reliability.
Credit and billing data: credit balance, transaction history, and timestamps. We do not store payment card details. Payment processing is handled by a regulated third-party provider.
How we use your data
- To provide the VoyagePoint document checking service
- To extract and analyse fields from your uploaded shipment documents
- To run compliance checks against regulatory data sources
- To manage your account, credit balance, and shipment history
- To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
- To investigate security incidents and enforce our Terms of Service
We do not sell your data. We do not use your uploaded documents to train AI models.

Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Uploaded documents and extracted data are retained for the duration of your account, or until you request deletion.
To request deletion of your data, contact privacy@voyagepoint.io. We will action deletion requests within 30 days.
Your rights (UK GDPR)
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to processing or request restriction
- Data portability: receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)
Security
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to your data is restricted by row-level security. No other tenant can access your documents or shipment data. We follow industry-standard security practices and review them regularly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or by a notice within the product. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
